Employment Law Seminar with Business Durham and Swinburne Maddison

This seminar is packed with practical tips on Flexible and Hybrid Working, Neurodiversity in the workplace and workplace stress guidance.

The enduring impact of the pandemic on workplace culture and employer responsibilities has been greater than many of us could have imagined. From navigating the government’s furlough scheme to responding to home working requests and supporting their employees to have a better work-life balance whilst also attending to the needs of the business, the past two years have been one long learning curve.

With this in mind, Business Durham and Swinburne Maddison have partnered up to deliver an exciting seminar, packed with practical tips.

The morning will be comperéd by David Low, Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Swinburne Maddison LLP, with Karen McParlin, Business Engagement & Account Manager of Business Durham, on hand to introduce Business Durham and share details of future events.

Jonathan Moreland, Managing Partner and Head of the Employment team at Swinburne Maddison LLP, will provide business owners and HR managers with the tools they need to manage hybrid and flexible working requests.

Ramsay Taylor, DurhamEnable’s Development and Quality Manager from Durham County Council, will discuss Neurodiversity and how the DurhamEnable programme can support you.

As we have all been reminded throughout April’s Stress Awareness month, it is important to support your employees during this time of transition back to work and their adjustment to the “new normal”. Sharney Randhawa, Managing Associate in the Employment team at Swinburne Maddison LLP, will provide practical advice and tips to help you support your employees.
