Business Durham leads a North East consortium which runs the North East Satellite Applications Centre of Excellence.  The consortium includes all of the five Universities in the region and other private and public sector partners.

Funded by the Satellite Applications Catapult and the UK Space Agency, we’re here to stimulate and support the space community in the region. We’re based at the North East Technology Park (NETPark) in Sedgefield, County Durham, home to some of the world’s fastest-growing companies.

The Centre can offer support as you come up with new ways to solve the world’s problems using space and satellite data and technology. This may be earth observation data, emerging communications technology to enable ubiquitous connectivity or

We’re interested in hearing from you if you’re already in the space sector, or if you have the potential to work in the space and satellite sector but have not yet investigated what market opportunities this might mean.
