DBOP COVID Recovery Support Programme

DBOP COVID Recovery Support Programme

Micro and small businesses from across County Durham are being offered professional support to help get back on track following the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The twoyear programme will be delivered by the CDC Enterprise Agency and will offer one-to-one support sessions focusing on developing marketing and sales plans, upgrading existing websites, creating new social media strategies, developing branding, creating new marketing materials and supporting the development of new products or services. Businesses can also apply for a £500 grant to contribute towards the implementation costs of a marketing or sales plan.

If the pandemic has affected your business we can help. The best way to get our small and micro businesses moving again is to help improve sales.

We’ll help you to focus on who your customers are, what your customers want and how you can best reach them.

Society has changed and your business needs to change to ensure you can thrive in the new economy. Sales are the lifeblood of any business . You need a reliable lead generation system and an ability to turn those leads into customers. This is where we can help.

You might need to redesign your business model. You might need new customers or new processes. Our team will work with you to assess your business and develop a unique action plan to help you get to the next stage.

The programme is 100% funded, which means there’s no charge to you. You will need to commit to working with us to give your business the best chance of success.

To help get things moving we’ve also got a small grant pot of £500 per business to spend on marketing. You’ll need to invest at least £250 yourself in order to access the grant but it’s there if you need it to help you on the right path.

The support I received was fantastic. Lisa Hesler at CDC was my support officer, working with me to develop a marketing strategy that has helped focus my efforts on the areas that are best suited to my business and who my ideal customers are.
