SUPERMARKET chain Aldi has set an open date for its newest County Durham store that will look at replacing one of its existing facilities.
Announcing the news this week, the German brand said that it would be opening the doors of its Spennymoor outlet on Thursday, May 19 at 8am.
The new store on Oxford Road will replace the existing store on Cambridge Street and will be run by Store Manager Lyndsey Wise, along with a team of 26 colleagues from the local community.
