The new chief executive of North East-based NEL Fund Managers has hailed the resilience of businesses in the region, following its busiest ever year.
NEL was established in 1989 to provide finance to SMEs across the North East.
During 2022, the firm deployed £5.7m in funding to businesses including Cascade Cash Management and acquisitive estate and lettings agent My Property Box.
