Castle Insurance Services has snapped up a Durham-based counterpart in its first acquisition since becoming part of Global Risk Partners.
The brokerage, also based in Durham, has swooped for M R Lonsdale & Partners which was established in 1959, and was previously owned by partners Oliver Dobson, Philip Lonsdale and Nigel Bradley.
Under Castle’s ownership, Dobson will remain with the business while Lonsdale and Bradley will be retiring.
