The owner of County Durham’s Clayton Glass says his firm is in talks with potential acquisition targets over deals that could come off next year.
Ryan Green said his business has managed to increase market share despite declining demand for windows in the wake of the Covid-induced home improvements boom. The growth, evidenced by a rise in turnover from £43.9m to £59.3m in the firm’s 2022 accounts, comes on the back of Clayton’s purchase of two factories from French materials giant Saint Gobain in May last year.
