County Durham stately home to reopen as wedding venue after takeover

A stately home wedding venue forced to close its doors during Covid will reopen its doors this summer after being taken over.

Lartington Hall in Barnard Castle shut its doors in March 2021, blaming the “continued uncertainty” of the pandemic.

The Grade II listed home went on the market last year for a whopping £3.8m and has been snapped up, with a reopening date set for this summer.
