Further details have been revealed for a residential scheme which will create 400 homes, 200 of which will be affordable, in Auckland Park.
An approved reserved matters application for phase two of the Bishop’s Park scheme in Bishop Auckland lays out plans to build 401 new properties on land to the south of St Phillips Close.
The site is subject to outline planning permission, and phase one, which comprises the creation of 99 homes, is already underway with a number of the properties already occupied.
The second stage of the development by Vistry Partnerships will include a mix of two- three- and four-bedroom house types – of which 201 will be free sale.
There will also be 200 affordable homes, 76 of which will be two-bedroom with 109 three-bed and 15 four-bed.
Parking either alongside or to the front of the homes will also be included, with the arrangement allowing to landscaping in the street to compliment greenspaces and infrastructure.
Existing site features which include public rights of way and boundary planting have also been considered to ensure a well-integrated development.
