    Durham media firm secures technology to track people passing outdoor adverts

    North East media business has signed a deal that allows it to use technology that can track the number of people walking past its adverts.

    Durham firm Smart Media Group and its Smart Outdoor subsidiary have signed a new partnership with American tech business Data Jam to use small boxes that are fitted to outdoor advertising to more accurately count the audience of its digital screens.
