County Durham-based garden furniture supply company Maze has worked with a technology and connectivity firm to enhance its network system as part of a £1m package of improvements into its new site.
Advantex secured a five-figure contract to install a new Meraki network system at Maze’s 100,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution hub in Peterlee.
The enhanced Wi-Fi capability is expected to improve business performance, reduce operational costs, improve real-time order fulfilment and visibility, and boost workforce productivity at the site – which opened earlier this year as part of its growth plans.
