Grants of between £50,000 and £70,000 are available for innovative and commercially viable plans or prototypes to improve personal mobility options to help older people stay connected, active, and independent.
The grants are provided by Innovate UK through the Design Age Institute’s Mobility Pathfinder Innovation Programme, which invites businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs from across the UK to propose accessible, affordable and sustainable personal mobility solutions that can be supported towards the market.
Awardees will also receive design management support and mentoring, along with skills development and training opportunities.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 15th May 2023.
