Hargreaves Services “remains confident” as strong trading continues

Durham-headquartered Hargreaves Services has said it “remains confident” as its divisions continue to trade in line with expectations, and confirmed that the cancellation of the northern section of HS2 has had “no impact” on its UK services business.

In a statement published ahead of its AGM, chair Roger McDowell said that its services business has had a “strong start to the year”, with more than 60 term and framework contracts “providing excellent revenue visibility”.

During the first four months of the year, Hargreaves Land has continued to see development in the renewable energy sector, with McDowell noting that it “remains focused on realising value from its portfolio of renewable energy land assets”.
