Lightsource BP’s plans for a huge solar farm in Durham look set to advance.
The company is looking to install a ground mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar energy generation system on a 228.8-acre site to the east of Edge Lane, Maiden Law.
Currently, the site comprises a series of agricultural fields, and areas of dense woodlands which would be retained and enhanced to break up the arrangement of the solar panels.
