A partnership has been forged between Learning Curve Group (LCG) and LearnBox which will help tackle a major issue faced by the further education sector and the wider economy for the teaching and uptake of functional skills.
Due to a lack of funding, a lack of specialist tutors and a lack of engagement from learners, as it is seen as a subject that should have been completed at school, the delivery of functional skills within further education is a longstanding challenge.
