Local traders announced for Seaham Food Festival

In just five weeks’ time, a County Durham seaside town will come to life with a “scrumptious selection” of food vendors and entertainment.

Traders from the county and beyond are preparing for Seaham Food Festival, which will be returning for two days of “food and fun” at the town’s coastline on Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7.

Organisers of the Durham County Council event have announced this year’s extensive list of food retailers who are ready to share dishes and delicacies with visitors. Festival goers can look forward to tasting a selection of global street food, from traditional East Asian dishes, Greek gyros and Lebanese shawarma to American-style burgers and “luxury” loaded fries.
