Open North Foundation Business Networking Event

Business Durham will be supporting what promises to be an excellent business networking event to be held on the evening of  20th October at Ramside Hall Hotel, hosted by the Open North Foundation (ONF).

Funded entirely by members of the North East business community and supported by Business Durham since its inception in 2020, the Open North Foundation (ONF) was set up to help businesses impacted by Covid, and has now broadened its scope to also support small and early stage businesses facing economic stagnation, with particular emphasis on personnel development, training and apprenticeships.

This free business networking event will provide information on a range of support available in these most challenging times, including from Newcastle Business School of Northumbria University, Zenith Training, and the Advanced Manufacturing Forum.  Master of Ceremonies is Alfie Joey of BBC Radio Newcastle with key note address by Arnab Basu MBE DL, CEO of the amazing Kromek Group based at NETPark.

“ONF has played an important role in supporting businesses in the North East impacted by Covid and we at Business Durham are delighted to continue supporting and promoting, noting too their broadened scope to support businesses struggling in challenging economic times, especially early stage and small businesses, with a focus on training and employee development”, said Sarah Slaven, MD of Business Durham and ONF Ambassador.
