Turnover and profits have increased at one of the North East’s oldest construction companies following a year of increased workload, despite a number of operating challenges.
Bishop Auckland-headquartered T Manners & Sons was established in 1860 and has remained in family ownership since its formation.
The business now employs more than 70 people.
For the year ended 31 December 2022, turnover climbed from £13.6m to £18.2m while pre-tax profit jumped from £103,496 to £212,890.
