BUILDING work on a derelict County Durham site that will create outlets for Starbucks, Dominos and Greggs is taking shape after it was announced that developers hope to complete the project by the end of the year.
The £2.6m development, which will be created just off Agnes Street in Stanley, was granted planning permission in July 2020 after Durham County Council deemed it more appropriate than the empty land that some people park their cars on.
