It is a “really exciting time” for the North East, according to the joint chief executive of the MGL Group, which employs more than 400 people in the region, following a solid trading year.
The Durham-headquartered company is made up of a number of brands including Rainton Construction, MGL Demolition and Tynedale Roadstone and is overseen by founder Alan Davison’s son, son-in-law, and his daughter as group director.
For the year ended 31 March 2022, turnover returned to pre-pandemic levels of £70m, up from £56.4m in 2021.
