Durham-based manufacturer Artech Lighting is investing in its equipment as it looks to capitalise on its growth and create new jobs in the region.

The company, which is based on the outskirts of Durham city, has invested in an Ultimaker S5 Pro 3D printer as part of plans to bring the production of many of its lighting components back to the region, creating a number of new jobs in the process.

Since its launch in 2017 it has been committed to producing 100 per cent of its product range at its facility in Durham, and has secured contracts for developments such as the Dubai World Trade Centre as well as projects with The University of Edinburgh.
