A big-name brand is expected to open a new store at a retail park near Durham after plans for the shop were unveiled by the company.
Despite already boasting the likes of B&Q, Boots, Currys, Sports Direct and McDonald’s nearby, proposals for Wickes to move into St Andrews Park, Dragon Lane, are in the pipeline.
The plans, which were submitted to Durham County Council, show the signage that will be used for the front and side of the shop, which hadn’t been revealed as Wickes up until this point.
