Turnover tops £20m at Peterlee electrical testing specialist Seaward

Growth in the solar power market has helped electrical testing equipment maker Seaward Electronic to boost turnover.

New accounts for the County Durham firm show strong demand for its handheld PAT machines and medical device testers used by solar farm operators and healthcare organisations, among others. Figures published for 2022 include an increase in turnover from £19.8m to £20.8m and a small fall in operating profits from £4.2m to £3.9m, owing to higher depreciation expenses.
