Three County Durham companies win Queen’s Awards for Enterprise

Three County Durham companies are among seven North East companies that have been recognised for their work with Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – the region’s largest haul of awards in six years.

Seven North East companies have been recognised for their work with Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – the region’s largest haul of awards in six years.

Six of the firms – County Durham’s Kromek based at Business Durham’s North East Technology Park (NETPark) in Sedgefield, Prima Cheese and Crafter’s Companion, plus Sunderland company Workcast Corporation, Teesside firm Absolute Antibody and D-Line, from North Shields – have received awards for international trade. Newcastle’s Shared Interest won its award in the sustainable development category.
