Station Place is a £4.8 million scheme at Merchant Park in Newton Aycliffe.
The scheme provides 50,503 sq ft of new industrial space from 3,196 sq ft for start-up and growing businesses. This exciting new development is one part of a wider £90m, 65-acre development on Aycliffe Business Park located just off J59 of the A1(M) and home to Hitachi Rail. Work started on site in March 2021 and the units are scheduled to be available for occupation in June 2022.
The new industrial units deliver 50,503 sq ft of new industrial space to support new and expanding businesses in Newton Aycliffe. There is a total of ten new industrial units ranging in size from 3,196 to 8,716 sq ft for start-up and growing businesses creating 130 jobs.

Station Place is part of Aycliffe Business Park, which is the largest industrial Park in the North East and is home to a wide range of established and thriving businesses and next to Hitachi Rail Europe.
