A New Spar Has Opened In A County Durham Town

Spar North of England has welcomed new independent retailer Zain Hussain from County Durham into the symbol group.
Hussain, aged 23, has taken on increased responsibility for the family store in the Shield Row area of Stanley in recent years as his dad, Taz, has moved into a background role.
The popular store located in Rodham Terrace has undergone a transformed appearance externally with a new fascia and window vinyls, with a comprehensive changeover of stock in-store supplied by James Hall & Co, including an enhanced range of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Hussain, who has ambitions to maximise the store’s potential, marked the development by hosting the Spar mascot and Spinner Winner activity on launch day offering customers the chance to spin the wheel for free prizes.
