Apprentices start work at Octric in Aycliffe Business Park

Two young people have secured a starting point in one of the UK's most advanced engineering sectors.


Sixteen-year-old Sam Norman of Crook and 17-year-old Evan Porter of Darlington have joined Octric Semiconductors UK as the first multi-skilled maintenance apprentices under a new partnership between the company and South West Durham Training (SWDT).
