A County Durham regeneration charity is putting Bishop Auckland firmly on the visitor map with a campaign promoting a “bonkers day out” in the historic town.
The Auckland Project has launched a major advertising drive under its public-facing Bishop’s alive brand, appearing on buses, roadside posters and digital channels regionally and nationally.
Since launching in July, the campaign has reached more than 3.5 million people, with website traffic increasing around 200 per cent.
