County Durham schoolchildren and members of the public brushed shoulders with world-leading scientists during a major space conference.
Durham University hosted the National Astronomy Meeting (NAM) 2025 earlier this month, welcoming around 1,000 academics for the Royal Astronomical Society’s flagship annual event.
The meeting featured the latest in space research and included a wide range of activities for primary and secondary school pupils, youth groups, and the wider community.
