This month saw another successful Drum networking event, bringing together businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Chester-le-Street and the wider area for a morning of connection, conversation and collaboration.
Held at Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, the free event created space for attendees to step away from their day-to-day and focus on what matters just as much as growth: relationships. From established organisations to emerging start-ups, the room reflected the diversity and energy of the local business community.
Our speaker, Stuart Armstrong, Business Engagement Officer at Business Durham, delivered an insightful and practical talk on the free digital tools available to improve efficiency, ease workloads and strengthen business pipelines. He also shared valuable funding opportunities for County Durham businesses, making it a session not to be missed.
The Drum network continues to provide a platform where meaningful connections can happen naturally. Conversations flowed easily, with attendees sharing ideas, experiences and opportunities. For many, it was not just about expanding their network, but about finding common ground and building relationships that can support long-term success.
Events like these play an important role in strengthening the region’s business ecosystem. By creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and support, The Drum network helps to foster a community where businesses can grow together rather than in isolation.
As Business Durham continues to support and champion local enterprise, The Drum network remains a key part of that mission. Bringing people together, sparking ideas and supporting growth across the region.
We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces at the next event.
