Chapter 50 initiative launches in Weardale

Age UK County Durham has appointed Katie Corrigan as project officer for its National Lottery-funded campaign, Chapter 50 – Future You.
Katie will lead the launch in Weardale before expanding the initiative into Newton Aycliffe, supporting people aged 50 to 69 to prepare for a happy, healthy retirement.
The project focuses on wellbeing, digital skills, financial and legal planning and community activities, with a launch event on Wednesday, July 9 at St Thomas Church Hall, Stanhope.
