A County Durham working men's club is determined to keep community spirit alive despite officials saying they have been "fighting to keep its doors open".


Grange Villa Working Men's Club, near Chester-le-Street, has been struggling with the rising costs associated with running the venue.


"Sky-high energy bills" are among the financial pressures it faces, alongside what members describe as older financial hurdles inherited by the club.
