Chester-le-Street restaurant 'as good as Italy' with top reviews

A County Durham Italian restaurant has been branded 'better than mamma makes' after bagging a host of top reviews online, with one customer saying they've "never had a bad meal there".


Fabio's in Chester-le-Street was labelled an 'authentic' experience by contributors on TripAdvisor who said the venue was 'as good as' being in Italy.


The Italian has been given 187 'excellent' reviews on the site and serves favourites like potato skins, Caesar salad, pizzas and pastas, with two courses during 'Happy Hour' costing less than £15.


One reviewer said: "We keep going back here, because we know we will have excellent service, every time, and very good food.
