Consett-Based Housebuilder Secures Green Light for 59-Home Development


A County Durham housebuilder is set to expand its regional footprint after receiving planning approval for a 59-home development in South East Northumberland.
The project is a significant milestone for the Consett firm, which has already delivered more than 600 homes across the North East.

Amethyst Homes, headquartered in Consett, will soon break ground on “The Woodlands,” a new residential scheme located in Guide Post, near Stakeford. The development will feature a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, and forms the first phase of a wider 100-plus home masterplan.
