County Durham-based retrofit compliance specialists PasCheck attended Housing 2025, the UK’s leading event for the entire housing sector, held this week at Manchester Central.

With over 10,000 attendees and 500 speakers across three days, the event brought together professionals from housing associations, local authorities, central government, and the supply chain to collaborate, influence policy, and help shape the future of housing.

Housing 2025 served as a vital platform for progressing key conversations around housing delivery, net zero, funding, resident engagement, and social value. It offered space for honest dialogue and practical solutions to some of the UK’s most urgent housing challenges—while championing the power of partnerships across all tenures.

For PasCheck, the event marked both a professional milestone and a valuable moment of reconnection. A highlight of this year’s visit was reuniting with Rebecca Hart, who played a pivotal role in PasCheck’s early success by introducing the team to United Living. Now in a new role at Novus as Head of Sustain, Rebecca’s career path reflected the evolving relationships and shared goals that continue to drive the retrofit sector forward.

"Events like Housing 2025 remind us that It's not just about the opportunities to grow our business - it’s about the people who help make progress possible," said Andrew Lawton, Director of PasCheck. "Reconnecting with Rebecca was a great example of how long-standing partnerships and shared values continue to shape the future of retrofit delivery."

PasCheck continues to expand its national presence, supporting housing providers, local authorities, and delivery partners with independent, expert guidance through PAS 2035 compliance, whole-house retrofit coordination, and design.
