Witton Whaler fish and chip shop extends opening season

A popular fish and chip shop at a County Durham holiday park will

continue serving customers right up until Christmas after operators announced an extension to its seasonal opening.

The Witton Whaler at Witton Castle Country Park near Bishop Auckland will give visitors extra time to enjoy a chippy tea before Christmas.

The announcement was shared by the holiday park on social media, where managers confirmed the popular takeaway would then close for a short winter break throughout January and February before reopening in March.
