A vacant site in County Durham will be transformed into 248 new homes after housebuilder Strata secured planning permission.
The site at Merrington Lane, Spennymoor, County Durham, was formerly used as an Electrolux Factory, which created household and professional appliances.
The development will provide a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom dwellings, designed to support family living and opportunities for first-time buyers.
