County Durham directors go extra mile for charity

Four County Durham business leaders have put their best feet forward in memory of their fathers, completing a gruelling 56-mile walking challenge and raising more than £7000 for charity.
Phil and Michael Pallister, Jason Oakes and Liam Hall, all directors at 0800 Repair, tackled the Weardale Way over two days to raise funds for end-of-life care charity Marie Curie.
Setting off from Killhope on Thursday morning, the quartet battled physical and mental fatigue before reaching Durham Cathedral on Friday evening, where they were welcomed by colleagues, friends and supporters.
