County Durham farmer up for national award after turning family farm into classroom

A County Durham farmer who has transformed part of her family farm into an outdoor classroom for children has been shortlisted for a national award.
Jemma Clark, founder of Bowlees Education Farm near Barnard Castle, is shortlisted for the Community Impact Award at the UK Women's Business Awards.
Jemma runs the farm with her husband, John, a full-time farrier, and their children, drawing on 15 years in education, specialising in special needs and challenging behaviour, to teach youngsters about farming and rural life.
