Durham Police and Crime Commissioner Joy Allen is urging employers to make road safety a boardroom priority as the campaign spreads across Britain.

County Durham transport firm Stiller Warehousing & Distribution Ltd has signed up to the Life is Precious campaign, which targets the "Fatal Four": speeding, drink and drug driving, failing to wear a seatbelt and using a mobile phone at the wheel.

The company has unveiled a newly branded trailer as part of the campaign, developed in partnership with Durham Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit, to promote the road safety message to motorists nationwide.
