Crush Wine Bar, based on North Road, officially opened to members of the public on Sunday (August 25), with the venue being pictured full of customers within 30 minutes of opening.

Despite enjoying a soft-launch-style opening last week, the main event on Sunday saw Crush welcome people from 5pm, and at about 5.30pm, all of the tables and standing space had filled up.

Owner of the new wine bar, Daniel Jonberger has said that seeing that many people at the wine bar within the first day was a "humbling experience".
