Dalton Park Sets New Retail Benchmark with Record-Breaking Clinique Pop-Up Success

Dalton Park, the North East’s largest outlet shopping destination, has reported exceptional results following its recent Clinique Beauty Pop-Up activation, marking one of its most successful trading periods to date.
The immersive experience, delivered in partnership with The Cosmetics Company Store, ran from 7th–12th October 2025 and proved to be a resounding success in driving sales, footfall, and customer engagement. Positioned prominently in the centre of the outlet, the Clinique Pop-Up offered complimentary skincare consultations and expert product recommendations, alongside free gifts and exclusive offers.
Over the six-day event, more than 1,800 customers received one-to-one skincare consultations, while an impressive 2,020 visitors signed up to the brand’s database — a 91% conversion rate. The activation generated a remarkable +282% uplift in Clinique product sales and delivered an unprecedented +342% overall sales increase for The Cosmetics Company Store. This performance secured Dalton Park’s store a place among the top two best-performing locations nationally for the company.
The results also set a new milestone for Dalton Park, with The Cosmetics Company Store doubling its previous record sales week, originally achieved during the peak Christmas trading period in 2019.
The success extended beyond the pop-up itself, driving a +15.8% uplift in overall footfall — the highest level recorded at Dalton Park this year. The event also fuelled a +116% surge in the Health & Beauty category, reflecting growing consumer enthusiasm for experiential and beauty-led retail.
