Diggerland Durham Scoops Silver at North East Tourism Awards 2025

Diggerland Durham is celebrating after being recognised as one of the region’s top attractions at the North East England Tourism Awards 2025.
The popular family theme park was shortlisted in the ‘Small Visitor Attraction of the Year’ category and proudly took home the Silver Award at the prestigious awards evening on 20th March 2025 at The Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The event was an epic night of celebration for the region’s thriving tourism industry, recognising the exceptional attractions, businesses, and individuals who make the North East such a fantastic place to visit.
As a local award winner, Diggerland Durham has now been entered into the national 2025 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, where results will be announced in April. These prestigious awards honour businesses and individuals who create exceptional visitor experiences. They also promote innovation in tourism and encourage excellence across the UK’s travel and leisure industry.
