A County Durham rowing club has been given funding to support people living with cancer.
Durham Amateur Rowing Club based at the Boathouse in Durham, is one of more than 30 community projects across the North East and North Cumbria to receive a share of £200,000 from the Northern Cancer Alliance.
The funding is part of a community project to improve quality of life for people living with cancer through supportive group activities, which in Durham include rowing sessions.
