East Durham Business Network announces leadership changes

East Durham Business Network has appointed Duncan Hedley as chairman and Emma Readman to a support role as it looks to strengthen its offering to local businesses.
Duncan, managing director of Peterlee-based engineering firm Berger Closures, takes over from long-standing co-chairmen Ranj Gill and Gursh Kahlon, who are stepping down after three years to focus on other business ventures.
He is joined by Emma, founder of EMBERS HR, who will help develop the network’s events programme and strengthen engagement with businesses across the area.
