Ferryhill Town Centre welcomes Bakery and Sweet Shop Kiosks

A scheme to attract traders into kiosks in the centre of a County Durham town has proved to be a hit, with two businesses taking up residence just weeks after the initiative was launched.
The kiosks, located in the heart of Ferryhill Town Centre, have struggled to retain long-term tenants in recent years.
But a renewed advertising campaign, which launched last month, developed by Ferryhill Town Council in partnership with Durham County Council’s regeneration team, has helped turn things around for the town.
