A financial boost is helping two first-year students chase their ambitions at Durham University. The Oddfellows, one of the UK’s oldest friendly societies, selects recipients from among its national membership.


Will Stevenson and Emma Corbin, both 18 and studying geography at Durham University, have each been awarded a non-repayable £2,700 bursary from the Oddfellows’ First Degree Course Educational Award to support them through their studies.
