Help! First Aid Training celebrates 17 years in business and 1,000 five-star reviews
A Shildon-based first aid training company is celebrating two major milestones, 17 years in business and receiving more than 1,000 five-star Google reviews from its customers.
Help! First Aid Training was founded in 2009 by director Craig Fantarrow, with the business initially operating from an office at Craig's home and a single training room in Shildon.
Seventeen years later, the independent company has grown into one of the North East's established first aid training providers, delivering courses to businesses, schools, nurseries, colleges, charities and organisations across the region.
While the business has grown, its roots remain firmly in County Durham.
Today, Help! has a team of dedicated office staff and a group of highly experienced instructors, many of whom bring real-life experience from careers in the NHS, Military, Fire Service and other emergency services.
Director Craig Fantarrow said: "We know that we wouldn't be where we are today without our incredible instructors and our loyal customers."
"Our trainers bring a huge amount of real-life experience to our courses, and that makes a real difference. We want people to leave our training feeling confident and prepared to deal with an emergency, and having enjoyed training with us."
Over the years, Help! First Aid Training has worked with an enormous variety of organisations, from small local businesses to multi-site global companies, nurseries, schools, universities, care organisations, charities, gyms, museums and veterinary practices and now trains over 2,500 learners each year.
Alongside its continued growth and success, Help! First Aid Training has been supported through the Durham Business Growth Programme, delivered by Business Durham. The programme supports ambitious County Durham businesses with tailored advice and guidance to help them achieve their growth ambitions. Through this support, Help! First Aid Training has continued to strengthen its business and build on its reputation as one of the North East's leading first aid training providers.
But while reaching more customers has been an important part of the company's growth, another milestone has also been particularly meaningful to the team, when the company received its 1,000th five-star Google review.
Craig said: "I'm incredibly proud of everything we have achieved over the last 17 years.
