To ensure County Durham remains a premier location for investment and innovation, Durham County Council and the North East Combined Authority are inviting local businesses to share their views regarding employment land issues in the area.
County Durham must offer the right employment sites, in the right locations, at the right time. The information will help refresh the County Durham Plan, a vital framework that determines where new jobs, homes, and infrastructure will be located.
Without an up-to-date plan, the council has significantly less influence over the provision of new infrastructure, such as transport links and health facilities that we all rely upon. Your insight is crucial to ensure that this new plan accurately reflects the actual demand and future needs of our business community.
