Historic chapel to host fundraising concert

A historic County Durham venue is preparing to host a charity concert featuring classical music, an auction and exclusive prizes to raise funds for young people across the North East.
St Peter’s Chapel at Auckland Palace, in Bishop Auckland, will welcome guests on Thursday, November 12, for a gala evening hosted by The Auckland Project on behalf of the High Sheriff of Durham, Dr Arnab Basu MBE DL.
The event will raise money for the High Sheriff’s Youth Awards, which support grassroots organisations working with disadvantaged young people across the region.
